Happy 2016 everyone!
Since I’ve been living in the Netherlands for some time now, I thought I’d welcome the new year by sharing some photos that typify what the country is all about. These show a windmill, canal and houseboat – all taken in the university city that is Leiden.
Of course, there are many, many other things the country is very famous for. You know, things like cheese, tulips, weed and the oldest profession in the world. But cheese is slightly dreary in black and white, this isn’t the season for tulips and my blog shall remain family friendly, so here we are.
Enjoy! (Oh hey, it’s a leap year, too!)
