I love Japanese food. It’s tasty and aesthetically pleasing and doesn’t leave you with that uncomfortable feeling of fullness when you’re done with your meal.
And so, with my departure to the Netherlands less than a week away, it is with great sadness that I acknowledge that I shan’t be able to dine at my favourite Japanese restaurant for some time to come. (It’s called Choubei Japanese Restaurant, for those who’re curious to know the place’s name.)
I shall definitely miss the sashimi.
I will miss the cold soba served with tempura, too.
And here’s something my dad ordered. Cod with rice and chawanmushi and some other things (two slices of watermelon and a bowl of miso soup, for the most part).
I shall pig out at this place upon my return to Singapore.
